Limited Edition Mugs for The Irish Design Shop, Dublin.
- These limited edition mugs were commissioned by the Irish Design Shop to promote their 'Pop-Up Shop' at at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin, March 2011.
Designers: Dave Comiskey, Rene Mullin, Paget Scott- Mc Carthy, Olga Tiernan, Trevor Waugh and Yellowhammer.

The 'Pursuit of Diarmuid and Grainne' is a complex tale from Irish mythology centred around a spellbound warrior (Diarmuid) and Grainne, the wife of the gilted Fionn mac Cumhaill who pursues the lovers across the island of Ireland. Some of the elements from the story are depicted above : Diarmuids enchanted spears, one of the megalithic tombs where they are reputed to have slept, the geis or spell Diarmuid drank, the hands of Fionn which have the magic of healing mortal wounds, the boar which brings Diarmuid close to death and the hounds of Fionn.Illustration2013 -
